While you are here at Higgins Lake KOA FUN! PARK, we hope you make time to explore the surrounding areas. Higgins Lake is just a five-minute drive from our campground. The Au Sable River nearby offers lazy canoe rides and awesome fly fishing for every level of experience. The fish nursery and Coke museum are "must sees" in nearby Grayling. If shopping is something you enjoy, a day trip to Traverse City or the Tanger Outlet Mall in nearby West Branch is a must! Feeling lucky, casinos can be found in St. Ignace and Traverse City.
